Jamestown College women's track & field and cross country coach, Jim Clark, announced that Leah Oien, who will be a 2013 graduate of Griggs County High School in Cooperstown, North Dakota, signed with Jamestown College and plans to participate in Cross Country and Track & Field for the Jimmies.   

Leah is the daughter of Cindy and Ivan Oien of Hannaford.           

Coach Clark said, "Leah has had a lot of success running for Coach Anderson at Griggs County.  She has been exceptional in cross country and her high school career was capped off with her selection by the state's coaches as "Senior of the Year" in ND Class B Cross Country.  Leah comes highly recommended by her coaches and teachers and I believe she will be a dedicated student and runner.  I think her best running days are ahead and I look forward to the opportunity to work with Leah as she joins the Jimmie teams."
