[Women's Cross Country] Reyes Legacy and Leadership at UJ

Aleona Reyes (Sr. Belen, New Mexico) earned her third XC All-American honors with her 13th place finish at NAIA Nationals in Lawrence, Kansas.
Reyes ran 18:15 at the Rim Rock Farms 5000 meter course for the women; she goes down as the second three-time XC All-American in Jimmie history.
Katie Conlon (Jamestown, ND) earned All-American honors for the Jimmies 2009-2011.  Conlon also earned a 4th All-American XC as an NCAA runner in 2012 as she helped Oregon win the NCAA title as a team.
Reyes made it to Nationals four years, earning All-American status 2011, 2012, and now, 2013.
 
Fellow University of Jamestown runner Samantha Goff finished in 19:18, good for 111th place out of the 319 total runners.
This was Goff's second trip to NAIA XC Nationals - Goff is a sophomore from Danvers, MN.
Christa Lysne (Fr. Devils Lake, ND) ran 19:37 and finished in place number 152.
 
The three Jimmie women were the only women XC runners representing the North Star Athletic Association at the National Meet.
  
Hillary Holt of the College of Idaho was the individual winner at 16:48.
British Columbia won their second straight title, beating out #2 College of Idaho.
