University of Jamestown head men's track and field coach Ed Crawford announced the addition of Michael Hust of Jamestown to the Jimmie men's team.

Hust is a two-time state placewinner in the 4x200 relay and a four-time state qualifier in the 100 and 200 sprints for the Blue Jays.

"I'm glad to have Michael come out for our men's track and field team," Crawford said. "He should provide added depth to our sprint group and we hope he follows in the footsteps of other former Blue Jays before him like William Swanson who have proven they can compete at the next level and be very competitive in college track and field. Michael is an outstanding young man who will help us in our relays and also in the open sprints."

Hust plans to major in Exercise Science.

He is the son of Al and Marsha Hust.
